President Cell Phone (he hates that nickname, but then...Jane so he doesn't much have room to talk) called a meeting. It's about time they properly saw Monmouth in and got this quest off the ground. Really, Gansey just wants to see all of his people in one place. He's still a bit unsettled about everyone's position in the city. Blue has moved into Monmouth, which Gansey likes, but it's also changed the dynamic of things, or at least he thinks that's what's changed the dynamic. Ronan has been by Monmouth and rattled through his room, taking stock Gansey thinks, but he hasn't stayed the night. It's not unusual for Ronan; there are nights back in Henreitta that his bed goes unslept in as well. Adam hasn't ever lived at Monmouth, but Gansey wants to give him one last offer and he wants to make certain that everyone knows they're welcome to stay here.
Not to mention the quest. He's not certain if it's the same quest to find Glendower or whether it's a different quest, to find a way out of here so they can return to the Glendower quest. Either way, it's something for Gansey to research, something for him to take notes on and something for him to occupy his time with. It's an important facet of Gansey. He's secretly (not so secretly) an obsessed individual that can easily fall into depression without something to focus on, something productive to obsess about.
In any case, meeting. Yes. There's pizza and Jane has cleaned up a bit. Gansey had to run her out of the main room because things are scattered just the way he likes. He's shuffling through papers on his desk and making notes, mint leaf between his teeth when everyone starts to arrive. He'll put that aside to mingle.
[Open to Ronan, Adam, Noah, Blue and Gansey. Mingle style. I'll probably do a formal 'let's get this meeting started' gansey thing further down. No particular posting order. Let me know if you want Ronan or Gansey in particular, otherwise...have fun? I just wanted TRC buds things]

Pizza is still gross, even if Noah has to eat.
And his room is still clean like it was back in Henrietta, his bed made every day, even when he does sleep in it.
Noah carries a sleeve of saltines with him, the crumbs sometimes collecting on his sweater as he wanders around the main room, nearly silently. He's curious, too, how all of them will interact. Something seems to be going on, but he's not sure what it is.
no subject
The fact that someone else had paid for it might bother him. Right now, he's just trying to be as normal as possible, not to rock any boats. So pizza it is.
no subject
He doesn't wait for an answer, though, watching Adam's face. "Are you feeling better?" He doesn't mean about being sick.
no subject
Then he shrugs and looks down into his lap again. "Kind of. Maybe." He and Ronan had talked, at least. "I'm working on it."

Ronan's eyes flicker to the crackers that Noah is carrying then back to Noah, eyes sweeping over him to take in any changes. He's glad that Noah is still Noah. It's how they'd accepted his ghost status so easily.
"Guess I can't throw you out the window anymore," he grins at him. He's actually really glad about this. Being alive is good.
no subject
Actually, Noah's kind of pretty afraid right now to do anything to threaten that current status. If he dies again, he figures, he may not get so lucky as to come back a ghost.
"... do you want to?"
no subject
He can understand that and he'll respect it because he's glad his friend is alive.
"No." He hesitates a moment. "We're gonna have to move some shit up here to throw out though. Maybe I'll dream up a carton of watermelons." That could be a lot of fun. Ronan has also gotten incredibly lazy about dreaming whatever the hell he wants because Adam keeps the ley lines patched up just for that reason.

"It's exciting, isn't it? Our first meeting all together." Gansey is nervous. This is a new place. Maybe Henrietta is the only thing that held them all together. Maybe without a proper quest for Glendower they'll all fall apart. God only knows why Gansey has abandonment issues, but they're there, clear as day and he's quite afraid that they just won't work here in Itinere the way they did in Henrietta.

Adam thinks that he doesn't fit, but isn't it Noah, really, who doesn't fit?
"It'll be fine, Gansey," he tells him, hands still fluttering at his sides.
no subject
Gansey nods at Noah's words, grateful that he sees how nervous Gansey is without pointing it out, without making a big deal of it. "Of course it will. All of us back together. How could it not be?" He infuses confidence and enthusiasm into those words, but it's his Richard Campbell Gansey III facade, not the real Gansey that the rest of them have come to know.

And yet, she finds herself doing just at the moment. She walks over to Noah with two plates: one for herself, one for him. "Pizza?"
no subject
"You don't have to serve," he reminds her. "You're not a waitress here."
Unless she is? He doesn't know. He tries to give Blue her privacy.

In his backpack, Adam has his scrying bowl, a bottle of water, and the tarot deck Persephone had given him. He also has notebooks of notes he's observed about Itinere as a whole. His notebooks are plain ol' spiral. He had never thought to ask for something fancy like Gansey's leather bound ones.
He sits down off to the side with a paper towel stacked with a couple slices of pizza and munches away while watching everyone else interact.
no subject
Ronan sits down next to Adam, his knee pressed against Adam's as he picks at his own pizza, clucking his tongue to call Chainsaw over so that he can feed her toppings off his pizza, and occasionally toppings off Adam's pizza.
no subject
He feels Chainsaw's beak in his hair in between bites, a familiar gesture at this point. It almost tickles when that touch gets close to his ear. That's the only time he brushes the beak away. Wouldn't want to be caught smiling or laughing. No, can't have that now can we.

She hasn't really seen Adam since she arrived here a week or so ago. Setting up her room in Monmouth and exploring Itinere had taken precedent. She grins when she walks in to the main room with a glass of water from the kitchen. Rather than going back to her original seat, she walks over towards him.
no subject
Adam's been laying low since that first day, or hiding. Semantics. There was really no reason for him to be here all that often until everyone was settled and if people wanted him here after that. So he kept his distance for the most part, kept busy, until Ronan had confronted him just two nights ago and they had worked some things out.
He's never been overly comfortable here at Monmouth like everyone else is. But strangely, he feels a little more comfortable now than he had in Henrietta. Maybe because he had missed the people who had only just arrived more than he had realized and more than he would admit. Missing them doesn't mean he's the best at interacting with them though. He's never been stellar at that.
So when Blue walks over to him, he shifts a bit as if there needs to be more room on the floor for her, as if there isn't already ample room. "Hey."

Let's get this party started
He looks up, closing the journal and setting it aside. He will get it out again when they start talking. "I thought perhaps this might be a good time to discuss what we know about Itinere, besides the fact that whatever power is here is enough to bring Noah back to life." He looks to Adam and Ronan, eyebrows raised. "You've been here the longest. You'll be our greatest source of information, I suspect."
Ronan has his mouth half full of pizza when he talks. "Ley lines are crazy strong. Barns are here and I haven't dreamed anything yet that Adam actually felt. 'Least not that I know of."
So that's Ronan's contribution to the discussion. Enjoy.

"I have notebooks. There seem to be three people in charge: Victor, Korrie and Brig." He says. "They seem to be capable of both magic and... advanced technology... like with the doors."
no subject
The one thing he can add is, "so far, I've been able to go most places and nothing changes."

Oh well. She's still living her dream.
And it's worth it. All her boys are in the same place, right where they belong. She helps herself to a slice of pizza as she wanders around the main room happily.
no subject
Gansey is also a bit nervous about having the boys over. He worries that things might be too different now. He knows that something has changed while Ronan and Adam are here (maybe they don't need him anymore) and obviously there's something big going on with Noah. He presses his lips together and looks to Blue.
"I think I'll wait a few more minutes to order the pizza. I'm certain it's not as good as Nino's."
no subject
But there's still something that seems to be bothering him. She wants to ask him what it is that's going on. Blue has her suspicions; their lives have been upturned in such an unexpected way and it's difficult now to figure out where they all fit in. But before she has a chance to ask, he starts in about pizza.
"I don't think they'll care," Blue answers. She doesn't particularly care. Pizza is pizza. She's just happy she doesn't have to serve it tonight. "They're not coming for the food."

Because that's an appropriate place for something you use to make food.
Yes, that is how Ronan is going to greet her. He's only scowling a little. That's an improvement, right?
no subject
Well, she won't stoop to his level no matter how tempting it is. "Hey Ronan," she says with extra sweetness in her voice. "I'm glad you could make it, too."
