President Cell Phone (he hates that nickname, but then...Jane so he doesn't much have room to talk) called a meeting. It's about time they properly saw Monmouth in and got this quest off the ground. Really, Gansey just wants to see all of his people in one place. He's still a bit unsettled about everyone's position in the city. Blue has moved into Monmouth, which Gansey likes, but it's also changed the dynamic of things, or at least he thinks that's what's changed the dynamic. Ronan has been by Monmouth and rattled through his room, taking stock Gansey thinks, but he hasn't stayed the night. It's not unusual for Ronan; there are nights back in Henreitta that his bed goes unslept in as well. Adam hasn't ever lived at Monmouth, but Gansey wants to give him one last offer and he wants to make certain that everyone knows they're welcome to stay here.
Not to mention the quest. He's not certain if it's the same quest to find Glendower or whether it's a different quest, to find a way out of here so they can return to the Glendower quest. Either way, it's something for Gansey to research, something for him to take notes on and something for him to occupy his time with. It's an important facet of Gansey. He's secretly (not so secretly) an obsessed individual that can easily fall into depression without something to focus on, something productive to obsess about.
In any case, meeting. Yes. There's pizza and Jane has cleaned up a bit. Gansey had to run her out of the main room because things are scattered just the way he likes. He's shuffling through papers on his desk and making notes, mint leaf between his teeth when everyone starts to arrive. He'll put that aside to mingle.
[Open to Ronan, Adam, Noah, Blue and Gansey. Mingle style. I'll probably do a formal 'let's get this meeting started' gansey thing further down. No particular posting order. Let me know if you want Ronan or Gansey in particular, otherwise...have fun? I just wanted TRC buds things]

It's not that his response goes ignored as Blue decides that it's not worth pursuing this course much further. Instead, she continues with making polite. "There's pizza if you want some."

If she weren't polite he wouldn't know what to do. He makes a gruff sort of noise. "Thanks," he grumbles because he does know how to use the word. "You order it?" he asks as he moves to get a couple of slices.

He can be polite. He just doesn't choose to be so very often. The thing about Ronan is that he notices everything. He notices everything because he's a dreamer and he needs details to accurately recreate anything in a dream. He notices the smile but he doesn't comment on it.
"Nothing tastes like Nino's pizza." No comment on the serving it. At least not at first. He does pause. "You might not like sitting with us while we're eating it any better."

She rolls her eyes. "I'm not a delicate flower, Ronan. I won't faint at your bad table manners."
no subject
He's got table manners. He simply doesn't choose to use them most of the time. Table manners don't jive very well with the carefully crafted image he's cultivated. He's not even sure he'd have table manners for a date. He figures if whomever he's on a date with is put off by his table manners then there's really no point in wasting anyone's time. The only time Ronan has observed manners of any sort since Niall died is the day he and Gansey stepped into the court room to testify against Adam's father. He'd been (mostly) the picture of manners that day with a tie and his shirt tucked in and everything. He hadn't even once cursed up on the stand.
Ronan snorts at the idea of Blue being a delicate flower. "No shit. You wouldn't last ten seconds if you were." And that tone in his voice is admiring. Of course, he ruins it by taking a piece of pizza, folding it in half and proceeding to stuff half the slice in his mouth.

"Pshaw." Though his words are harsh, she hears the admiration behind them. To mention it would be to lose that admiration so the one word is the only acknowledgement she makes. Blue waits until Ronan swallows the mound of pizza in his mouth before asking, "Well? How is it?"

At least he chews with his mouth closed, well aware that no one needs to see the food in his mouth. He shrugs a little at her question. "Not Ninos, but it's pretty good."
It could be fucking amazing, but it's still not Ninos, therefore it's not as good. "What'd you think of it?"
no subject
"I like it a lot better than Nino's," she states as she picks up her own slice and takes a bite. Blue never will understand what it is with all those raven boys and Nino's. The pizza there isn't that terrific. "This place has a better sauce."
