President Cell Phone (he hates that nickname, but then...Jane so he doesn't much have room to talk) called a meeting. It's about time they properly saw Monmouth in and got this quest off the ground. Really, Gansey just wants to see all of his people in one place. He's still a bit unsettled about everyone's position in the city. Blue has moved into Monmouth, which Gansey likes, but it's also changed the dynamic of things, or at least he thinks that's what's changed the dynamic. Ronan has been by Monmouth and rattled through his room, taking stock Gansey thinks, but he hasn't stayed the night. It's not unusual for Ronan; there are nights back in Henreitta that his bed goes unslept in as well. Adam hasn't ever lived at Monmouth, but Gansey wants to give him one last offer and he wants to make certain that everyone knows they're welcome to stay here.
Not to mention the quest. He's not certain if it's the same quest to find Glendower or whether it's a different quest, to find a way out of here so they can return to the Glendower quest. Either way, it's something for Gansey to research, something for him to take notes on and something for him to occupy his time with. It's an important facet of Gansey. He's secretly (not so secretly) an obsessed individual that can easily fall into depression without something to focus on, something productive to obsess about.
In any case, meeting. Yes. There's pizza and Jane has cleaned up a bit. Gansey had to run her out of the main room because things are scattered just the way he likes. He's shuffling through papers on his desk and making notes, mint leaf between his teeth when everyone starts to arrive. He'll put that aside to mingle.
[Open to Ronan, Adam, Noah, Blue and Gansey. Mingle style. I'll probably do a formal 'let's get this meeting started' gansey thing further down. No particular posting order. Let me know if you want Ronan or Gansey in particular, otherwise...have fun? I just wanted TRC buds things]

It might have helped being dead.

"I don't intend to." Blue grins at Noah. "I haven't yet."

Noah smiles back at Blue. She's tough; it's one of the many things he likes about her. "You don't need to clean my room." Still, his room is still as tidy as it was when he was dead. He makes his bed even now that he sleeps.

"I know," she says with a grateful grin. "Unlike the others, you actually know a thing or two about cleanliness."

“It’s a shame you can’t rub off on them,” Blue teases. “Though then I’d have one less thing to do. I never thought I’d miss having a job.”

Weird, right?

"No one's told me otherwise." An amused grin crosses her face and she nudges Noah's arm gently with her elbow. "You should've seen Gansey's reaction when the ice cream boy told him he didn't have to pay."

That makes him wonder if Gansey will struggle here. If he will feel like he doesn't fit in.
It's an interesting thought, one Noah keeps to himself. "Maybe he'll make a new model of this place."

She wonders too if Gansey will struggle. Adam and Ronan both seem to have made life here work. But in so many ways, Gansey is a product of his upbringing. A rich boy so used to his wealth and charm winning favors from everyone. She worries about him. She worries about all of them. At least the boys have each other. That foursome that are somehow so interconnected, so dependent on one another that Blue doubts anything could ever come between them for long. And where does she fit in? Blue. A girll. The newest member into this group. Does she really belong here among them?
Her doubts are ignored for now and instead, she comments, "It's only a matter of time."

One day, perhaps, they'll talk about places: Blue is the last, important piece that slotted into place. She brought Noah back when he was flickering, and she she made some of those Raven Boys feel things they hadn't felt before. That's important.
"Do you like it here?" he asks. He could be referring to anything, really: the Barns, this place, whatever.

One day they ought to talk. Then they can reassure each other of their significance within the group.
"I miss home," she admits, paying Noah's question as much weight as she would any question asked by her elders. "But I'd never have a chance to live in Monmouth back in Henrietta."

Her expression turns a little sad at the thought. "Maybe. I wouldn't mind it so much if Mom came."
