All right, so I know that there's this festival going on and don't think for a second I'm going to miss said festivities, but it's getting chillier and I was talking with a couple of friends and I think we require a bonfire at the beach soon. However, I'm kind of newish here (I'm Lydia, by the way, if we haven't already met) and I don't really know if there are like...regulations about that sort of thing in that vicinity. Does anyone know if that would be disallowed?

And if it isn't...I'm thinking next weekend, yes/no? Anyone interested? Some of you don't have a choice and I'm not even sorry, Allison, Barry, and Gracie (yes, you too), like not even a little. But for the rest of you, I hope that we'll see you?

I am totally up for this mandatory bonfire. It sounds perfect. Next weekend is a go for me. It's not like I have this crazy busy schedule here. It will, of course, require a shopping trip.

Yes, I've been to a bonfire, just not at the beach and I've seen you shop. I'm pretty sure what I wear to a bonfire and what you wear to a bonfire are two different things. You can still love me. It's allowed.

Ha, okay point taken. What I wear to a bonfire is also specific to the weather when the bonfire is happening, smartypants.

( Lydia kind of loves giving makeovers, so if ever asked, she'd be more than happy to help Gracie in that respect. It's one of her favorite things to do and she doesn't get to do it nearly enough, if you ask her. )

Oh wow, have you never been to one before? If you've never been to one before, you've just been shifted off the optional list and onto the mandatory one haha. What's your name? I don't think we've met.

As for what you do at a bonfire, it's mostly just the same thing you'd do at any party. Hang out, meet new people, drink, dance; whatever. It's just at night, outside, with a big fire lighting it. At least, that's how we did them; I don't know if it's different in different parts of the world.

The more, the merrier. Definitely bring people! I'm not really planning or aiming for anything specific. Allison wanted a bonfire and I haven't been to one in forever, so we want to do it here. That's about as far as the plan actually goes haha.
