[ The video flickers on to reveal a pretty blonde leaning on a bar. She sighs and lays her head on her arms. ]
So, The Houndstooth has been miraculously revived, Crimson Tide memorabilia is intact and this is your formal invitation to come hang with us.
[ She sits up straighter, her hands coming into prayer position. ] Please, please, please. We make some mean drinks, scrumptious chili cheese fries and I look really cute today. Truly, it would be a shame to let this dress go to waste. [ Insert a twirl to show the dress off before the video goes black]
(ooc: action is welcome. She is indeed at The Houndstooth. Network is also a-okay.)

He smiles as he comes in a sees her, moving closer almost shyly, his hands in his pockets. "Hey," he says as he gets closer.
no subject
A huge smile stretches over her face when she sees Noah and she hops up to lean across the bar and grab him by the shirt. This bashful hi thing just won't do. Her other arm curls around his neck to pull him close. If he doesn't fight it, she's going to great him with a kiss, and a good one at that.
no subject
And then, when the kiss breaks, he is still grinning and his face is red and he can't think of much else to say but "... hey." He's really glad to see her.
no subject
Red faced and speechless is the ideal reaction to a kiss in Lucy's opinion. She grins broadly at him. "Hey. Good day?" she asks him. "And what do you want to drink?"

no subject
"Me too. I'm glad things are getting back to normal and we've got this place back. Did your place return okay?"
no subject
He takes a sip of his Coke and sits and smiles at Lucy. "I'm glad to see you."

[ She's going to preen a little at Lydia's compliment. ] One of the boutiques here. I saw it in the window.
network;
I should get a job...
( She realizes a smidge on the belated side that it came out, anyway, and she shifts the conversation back. )
Sounds like fun. Maybe I'll drag Derek with and come check it out.

Actually, you don't have to. Work, I mean, if you don't want to. Everything here is free. Jill works here because she enjoys it and I work here sometimes. Mostly, I drink here.
[ Hey, she found something new out. It's good. ]
Yes! I don't know Derek, but you can introduce us and then play golden tee or just gorge yourself on chili cheese fries and beer.

Oh wow... Everything-everything? Everywhere? You're saying I could walk into a mall — God. I hope you have a mall — go into Macy's and pick up a new Coach bag and just walk out and no one would lose their minds over it? No shoplifting charges?
( Because uh...that would change her attitude about just about everything and she already pitied Derek at the thought of dragging him through the mall to carry her booty as it grew from store to store. )
He's my boyfriend. ( ...wow, it felt really good to say that out loud to someone, actually...finally. ) He's not a very sociable guy, but he's a work in progress.
( Lydia smirks, because she's mostly kidding. ...but also not really. It's her natural inclination to mold boyfriends into the perfect model and Derek's close but not quite there. Of course she's going to try to make him a little more sociable. )

I like works in progress. Bring him along and maybe he'll make some more progress.
[ Lucy understands. She's had more than a few work in progress boyfriends. ]

She has to crookedly grin a bit at Lucy's enthusiasm. Lucy has always been the kind of person people want to be around. In fact, she expects the flood gates of customers to open in three... two... one...
"Passion Fruit Sunrise?" She offers, sliding the drink in front of Lucy before she even says yes or no. She made one for herself too.
no subject
She's never liked to be alone and she enjoys people.
"Yes, please!" Lucy quips, picking the drink up. When has Lucy ever said no to a drink? She takes a sip of the drink. "Mmmmm. You make the best drinks Jilly Bean."
Jill really is the bartender. Lucy is more like the hostess, though she can make a drink when necessary.
no subject
Jill leans her elbows on the bar, sipping at her own drink and humming happily with the taste. Yeah, she did good on this one. Not too sweet but just sweet enough. Her tastebuds love it.
"I'm so glad to have this place back. Our apartment and everything else too. But this place." Her features scrunch up a bit with confusion. How in the world this entire city rebuilt itself is beyond her. But it did and she's glad for it.
no subject
Lucy takes a sip as well, stirring the drink with her straw when she pulls back.
"It's like having a little bit of home." Real home, not the apartment they share. She understands what Jill means by being glad to have this place back.
no subject
She takes a sip of her own drink and then wrinkles her nose as she turns back to grab two lime slices and squeeze a little into each of their glasses. "It was a little too sweet, right?" She offers an exaggerated shudder, stirs her drink, and tries it again before nodding. "That's better."
no subject
She takes another sip of the drink and nods. "Definitely. Bartending is your superpower and drinking is mine."
no subject
"I think chili cheese fries sound like something I need to try."
And now Lucy will get to join Jill and Natasha in the endeavor of teaching Alaina about Earth things.
no subject
"Chili cheese fries are something that everyone needs to try," Lucy says as she keys the order into the electronic system.
"I'm Lucy," she introduces herself, hand out to shake.
no subject
"Consider me interested enough to try them," Alaina continues, offering an amused smile. "I'd also like a drink, but I'll leave the strength and taste up to you. I'm feeling adventurous today."
no subject
"You'll enjoy them. I've put in the order and they should be up in a few minutes."
If Alaina is going to leave drink choice up to Lucy, Alaina is going to get a Mint Julep. It's Lucy's signature drink and the one she makes best in her opinion. She sugars the rim, adds a sprig of mint and slides the drink in front of Alaina.

She never thought she would have to defend two dracolisks and a hart from people, of all things.
"Thanks, Lucy." She adds a smile as she catches the drink and lifts it to taste it. Looks fancy. Like something from Orlais. Sipping it, she swallows and nods her satisfaction. "I'm starting to think you and Jill are Orlesians in disguise," she jokes.
no subject
Well, Lucy isn't entirely sure what a dracolisk is, but it doesn't sound as if they're very warm and fuzzy looking.
Lucy nods her 'you're welcome'. "Orlesians? Is that where you're from?" She makes her own mint julep as she asks.
