Closed | I just want to cuddle and watch movies
who: Noah, Lucy and Jill
what: promised movie night
when: Sept 27
warnings: lots of kissing?
The apartment is ship-shape without anything embarrassing out, but then that's unsurprising because Lucy really is a clean freak. The living room is terribly pink and Lucy has turned the AC down low enough that she can have a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen doesn't look like anyone has been working in it, but it smells fantastic and that smell has infiltrated the whole house.
Lucy had promised Noah dinner and movies with her and Jill during that horrible nightmare of his she'd been trapped in. Tonight, she's making good on that promise. She's collected several movies that she considers classics and bought all the standard movie treats like Twizzlers, popcorn and m&ms. She's also made dinner as promised: fried chicken, sweet potato fries and a hummingbird cake. There's also a large quantity of Sangria. There's a pitcher waiting on the coffee table and Lucy might have been testing it earlier. She answers the door, glass in hand. Her hair is pulled up in a ponytail and she only slipped the heels on when she heard the doorbell ring. She won't keep them on for long.

Jill had shared in Noah's dream as well. She feels bad being glad that no one had been stuck in her dreams, or nightmares as they were (are), but she is. She hadn't thought to do anything in Noah's dram but marvel at the death scene played out in front of her. She let herself get lost in it too. She found it beautiful. She should have thought to ask Noah on a date. But she didn't, so she's glad Lucy did.
When Lucy answers the door, Jill comes out of her room, standing somewhere behind her best friend in the background. It's almost a relief to see Noah there, whole and complete and alive. She barely smiles and waggles her fingers at him.

Noah stands there for a moment, just kind of staring at them.
This is a date isn't it? A date. It's been a really long time since he's been on a date and even then, the ones he'd gone on before he died were with Whelk being the leader, so ... yeah.
Anyway. They've both seen him dying and that makes him feel a little awkward, though he's not dead now. He has flowers and he holds them out to whoever would like them, Jill or Lucy and offers a smile. Hi.

It's a date, even if it's an unconventional one. Maybe they should have met at the Houndstooth, but Lucy thought something laid back and easy would be good. That's what this is meant to be.
That's what Lucy is here for. They've both got their strengths. Asking boys on dates is hers. She's had nightmares about that since then, about Noah dying in her arms. It had been horrible, but she knew if it had been horrible for her, it had to be worse for Noah. Asking him out on a date had been more about distraction than anything. Not that she didn't want to ask Noah out; she would have eventually regardless of whether she'd ended up in his dream or not. That had hastened things a bit.
The sight of the flowers makes Lucy smile brightly (as if she's not seeing Noah die every time she looks at him; she's an excellent faker); seeing Noah alive and whole helps a lot; they should have done this earlier). She steps forward and takes the flowers from him then leans in to kiss him on the mouth. Pulling back after a moment. "Come on in. I'm going to put these in water. They're beautiful and thank you," she tells him as she steps out of the way so he can actually come inside.

She walks over to close the apartment door and take Noah's hand to lead him further into the living room. Their apartment is bright and colorful and the living room is especially so. The large couch has an undercarriage that can be pulled out and lifted to essentially make it into a big half bed. The coffee table has been shifted out so that can happen and there are lots of pillows and throw blankets strewn about on the couch. All the better for comfortable snuggling.
"So how are you?" She asks as she leads him to the living room. She wants to make sure he's okay after the whole nightmare experience. He might think Jill had gotten a little dark and strange during it. But she thinks she'll be able to tell if he thinks she's weird by whether or not he pulls his hand out of hers or not. "Everything... better? No more guest spots in your dreams?"

So, he keeps his hand in Jill's, tastes Lucy's kiss on his mouth and looks around. He's a little smiley and a little flushed.
"I'm good? I mean." He offers them both a crooked smile. "I'm alive so that's something, right?" Because that could be worse, couldn't it? They both saw that.
"Your place is really nice." Pink, but nice. Ronan would have a field day mocking this place, so Noah's glad he's not here.

Flushed and smiley is so good. Lucy returns to the living room having put the flowers in a vase. The vase gets set on one of the end tables. Alive is also really good. It could be so much worse. "Definitely something, but we're striving for a whole night of awesome here."
His compliment makes Lucy preen a little. "Thanks. We got lucky finding one that we could do what we wanted with it." Yes, they did this on purpose and yes Ronan would have a field day mocking this place.

"It's good cause it's hard to kiss a ghost and I'm pretty sure kissing is going to be a thing tonight." Lucy likes kissing a lot. Jill likes it too but she's less forward about it than Lucy is.
At the couch, she lets go of Noah's hand and grabs one of the mint juleps from the coffee table as she crawls onto the oversized cushions. "It's also a lot of us thinking it and this place just making it happen." Because this is pretty much a 'if you dream it they will come' scenario. "I'm pretty sure Teleios is like everyone's fairy godmother or something. Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo."

Anyway.
Kissing. That's where Noah's brain stops for the moment. A thing of Kissing.
He swallows a little dryly as he sits, scooting back and back and back until he hits something where he can lean back. "I'm good with that if you guys are," he offers with a smile.
