Open | Eternity in an hour... or three days.
Isaac arrived three days earlier.
He had numbly followed the instructions on the PDA and holed himself up in his apartment for three days to try and swallow the hysteria. He was too sober to cope with this on top of everything else and total isolation was the only way he knew how to cope in the absence of his favourite addiction.
Now, he's decided to put on his big boy pants and actually go out and try and find out if this is Heaven, Hell or something far weirder.
Judging by the profusion of roses and clover, he's going for far weirder right now.
(OOC: Hello and please come and help/harass Isaac Mendez, formerly of Heroes and coming from his death at the end of season one!)

Isaac gave him a pointed look. "You fail on both accounts."

"Though it argues that you are not dead. I'm not an angel. This is living."

He folded his arms over his chest. "Maybe your reality is my afterlife. And we just continue to cycle through worlds... that's a really good comic idea, actually."

"Maybe..." he opened his mouth and then closed it. "Most would be happy to know they're not dead."

"I was waiting to die. Not being dead is a bit of a shock. And means the same old shit keeps on going on."

"Why would it keep going on? Why here would it keep going on?"

"No, I doubt you are. I've dealt with an insane man recently, and certainly nothing like this. Unless you plan to begin screaming suddenly and without reason," he said, making a cheap joke that only made sense if one knew Balem.
"Perhaps you're ill from what happened to you and confused. Have you thought of that?"

Isaac was starting to work himself up again.

"Though maybe that is true. I know someone who was reborn from the life of another, and that other knew she would return. If not predestined, how would she know?"
no subject
He shuddered and hugged himself tighter. "I hate the idea of predestination."
