Wanda may be fresh from a point where she's re-learning how to trust herself and her judgment. Back home, she was locked up in an underwater prison in the middle of the ocean, put in a straitjacket and power inhibitor collar, all because some international law was ratified that said powered people couldn't act unless if and when the government said so -- and she dared to fight against that and what it would do if passed. As seems a trend in her life, it was all because Tony freaking Stark had to try too hard to do something. Stark Industries made the weapons that killed her parents, Tony Stark made Ultron that blew up her city and killed her brother, Tony Stark had a guilty conscience for Ultron and the results of which put her in prison.

But despite all of that, she makes herself start fighting back against the things that have recently come into this place. Especially when she sees things that are ... Ultron sentries. Those bring up bad memories, but at least she knows how to fight them.

She takes them one at a time, blasting some of her red telekinetic energy at them, then further pulling them apart with said energy. It's going alright for her, until it isn't and she's surrounded by enough that it's overwhelming even with her abilities. She's in the middle of an Ultron sentry mass and could use an extra hand or five; someone may catch a glimpse of a red blast from the middle of the mass, and that's her trying to take out some robots.

Peter discovered his spider-man suit ages ago, but he hasn't had a reason to use it here until now. Since the monsters started showing up, he's been swinging around town trying to do what he could. Of course, he's really not accustomed to killing anyone or anything, so a lot of what he's been doing is cocooning monsters up in a web and dropping them out of the way.

He sees the red blast of energy from blocks away and heads in that direction, initially thinking that it was one of their new attractions. When he gets closer, it's obvious that it's someone fighting the monsters, someone who looks like she might need some help. He swings in, dropping down beside her from above. "Stop me if I'm just getting in the way and this is by no means a comment on your ability. That red energy thing is bad ass, but you look a little lonely," he quips as he lands.

So much for a peaceful vacation away from vacation. Kate has to give it to this place; when it wants to go all freak show haunted house and itself, Itinere doesn't hold back. Since the monsters started coming out of the woodwork, she's seen all sorts of creepy creatures. Kate's lost track of how many she used to consider fictional. That shouldn't be too much of a shock considering all of the strangeness she's already encountered - both here and back home.

Even though Itinere seems to have its fair share of superheros, Kate's more than happy to contribute. She has her unitard and the rest of her Hawkeye gear. Why shouldn't she get out there and kick some monster ass?

"Whoa," she comments as she turns the corner and catches a glimpse of Wanda and the Ultron robots. Never mind that Wanda's powers are definitely not what she expected. "When did Ultron have a chance to clone himself?"
